I had my stapedotomy a month ago carried out by Mr. Bhav Patel at Central Middlesex Hospital. I started noticing my hearing loss 5 years ago and was diagnosed with otosclerosis in October 2023. I was worried about the risks involved in having a stapedotomy despite knowing the fact that it can significantly improve my hearing and the quality of life. Mr Bhav Patel was very kind and supportive who gave me the confidence to go ahead with the operation. He answered all my questions and I felt very confident to go ahead with the operation. I started feeling my hearing improved in three weeks after my operation and my hearing test revealed that my hearing has improved. I’m very grateful to Mr Bhav Patel who has been very kind and supportive. He truly wants to help people.

I had a stapes operation on my left ear in December under Mr Patel. Before this I had hearing loss for 20 years but I did not go for surgery before because the previous doctors suggested I would be deaf forever. I came to see Mr Patel because my hearing was getting worse and I wanted to do something for it. I was worried about the idea of surgery, but I saw an audiologist who said so many good things about Mr Patel and his operations and results which made me feel encouraged. I wasn’t worried about the surgery and it was done with me awake. There was no pain at all, and I could hear so well straight after surgery. I am so happy about my hearing now, still getting used to how loud it sounds! I am forever grateful and recommend this operation with Mr Patel for anyone who has the same situation.

I had my surgery done for my ear and I felt completely taken care of by Dr Bhavesh Patel. He was able to listen to my worries and understand my needs. I was very nervous about this operation and he was able to calm my nerves by reassuring me that the operation will go smoothly. My surgery was done successfully and I feel very happy to hear again. I had my operation for otosclerosis 1 month ago at cenfral middlesex with Mr Patel. I am very happy. For the last 7 years my hearing has been getting worse. This had caused me a lot of stress and maxe me depressed. I had my operation while awake and I was amazed by my hearing at the end of surgery. I felt no pain during the surgery. I am delighted with my hearing and so happy to be able hear 10/10. My other ear needs surgery and i would have no worries about doing the surgery again.
